Lake Wales sits atop Florida’s topographical ridge, which is home to many plants found nowhere else on Earth. When you’re looking for something to do on weekends, you’ll want to check out the annual Lake Wales Arts Show, Pioneer Days, or The Orange Blossom BBQ…all of which are staged on the shores of beautiful Lake Wales lake. There also are monthly antique car shows, the International Carillon Festival at Bok Tower every year, the annual Mardi Gras parade and party, and the Sunset & Symphony each holiday season at Bok Tower.
