Nurse Residency Benefits
UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is committed to your growth and development and has designed a Nurse Residency Program to support you during the first 12 months of practice as you transition into your professional role in nursing. To qualify for a nurse resident position, candidates must be a recent graduate of a school of nursing, hold an active RN license in the state hired or multistate licensure, and a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Candidates may submit an application for a nurse resident position as early as 1 year prior to graduation date.
