Nurse Tech Benefits

Use the Clinical Experience and Knowledge you are learning in school and gain valuable hospital experience! Our nurse tech positions are designed to help you make a smooth transition into a graduate nurse role. To qualify for a nurse tech position students must be actively enrolled in nursing school and have a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nurse Residency Benefits

AdventHealth is committed to your growth and development and has designed a Nurse Residency Program to support you during the first 12 months of practice as you transition into your professional role in nursing. To qualify for a nurse resident position, candidates must be a recent graduate of a school of nursing, hold an active RN license in the state hired or multistate licensure, and a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Candidates may submit an application for a nurse resident position as early as 1 year prior to graduation date.

We will work with you to accommodate your school schedule. Shift requirements are: PRN – 1 Shift/Week, Part Time – 2 Shifts/Week, Full Time – 3 Shifts/Week.
Yes. All of our Nurse Tech positions are eligible for education assistance, including tuition reimbursement and loan repayment.
You must be enrolled in a nursing program and hold your BLS Certification.
We will work with you to accommodate your schedule and ensure you complete orientation.
You will work a 12 hour shift alongside both nurses and physicians. Tasks may include vital sign monitoring, glucose monitoring, bathing and feeding patients, phlebotomy (in some areas), assistance with mobility, improving patient experience and enhancing nursing skills.
Yes. Many of our campuses have a Float Pool Department which will provide you a broad array of experience in various hospital units.
